Red Ribbon Week begins Monday, October 18 at Red Cliffs Elementary. We would like to thank Celeste Robinson and Jessica Woodland and their committee for their help in planning this event. There are some fun things planned that will help the students learn the importance of staying healthy by making the choice to stay Drug Free. The overall theme for the week is "Life is what you make it, make it Drug Free."
Each day there is a theme for which the students can dress up:
Monday--"Don't let drugs turn you inside out"
(Wear clothes inside out)
(Wear clothes inside out)
Tuesday--"Tie down drugs" (Wear a fun/crazy tie)
Wednesday--"Sock it to drugs"
(Wear fun and craxy socks--good if they show)

Thursday--"Put a Cap on Drugs" (Wear a hat)
Friday--"Wear red day"
(Wear as much red as possible including RCE shirt)

Those who dress up will have a chance to win a prize in their class with a class drawing.
This year there is also a service opportunity that will occur throughout the entire week. We want to "Put drugs out in the cold." We will be collecting coats to be used to benefit those in the community. There will be bins located throughout the school for the students to put the coats in. All sizes are needed.
The week will conclude with an assembly on Friday.
We are sure to see lots of smiles this week because it's going to be a lot of fun.
Remember: "Life is what you make it, make it Drug Free!"
