2nd and 5th graders graduate from RAD Kids

The 2nd and 5th graders were able to participate in the RAD Kids program. Those who taught and made this program possible in our school are Linda Hanks, Amy Taylor, Perry Davis, and Officer Wright.   RAD Kids is personal empowerment safety education.  Some of the things they learn are fire safety, gun safety, bike safety, car safety.  RAD kids learn that 1.  No one has the right to hurth them because they are special.  2.  They don't have the right to hurt others unless someone is trying to jurt them and then they have every right to STOP THEM and escape.  3.  It is not their fault when someone jurts or tricks them, it's that persons fault and so they can tell.  Below are pictures of the fire simulation they had and also the simulation to practice their skills to protect them from someone who tries to hurt them.  Great job RAD Kids!
